Empowering and upskilling Muslim Fathers
The upbringing of children is of the most challenging and difficult responsibilities, yet a parent remains the one role that we are not expected or required to have any prior qualification or experience in despite the great weight on our shoulders. Consequently, parents continue to face innumerable problems and obstacles when raising wholesome children. The maintenance of relationships and modern-day challenges leave parents in a state of confusion and worry.
Involved Fathers is the first and only organisation that is dedicated for Muslim Fathers, to empower and upskill dads to be more involved and nurturing to their children.
Involved Fathers work with parents, carers, and educators to help them overcome the obstacles of parenting. This is done through an array of services such as bespoke parenting courses, webinars, training, books, and Q&A services, just to name a few.
While Involved Fathers services are dedicated to Muslim Fathers, they are still open to all parents to partake, learn and develop from.
What is an Involved Father / Involved Dad? Father involvement is defined as men’s “positive, wide-ranging, and active participation in their children’s lives” (Marsiglio et al., 2000, p. 276).
Involved Fathers flagship Parenting Course is the 3 T’s of Islamic Parenting, which brings together Islamic Theology and established Child Psychology Theory into practical application. Find out more about this course here.
To see a new generation of parenting based on Islamic Values
Through services that empower and upskill fathers, we will create a new generation of nurturing fathers who are actively involved in their childs life.
Our ‘principles’ are the fundamental beliefs of Involved Fathers, what we call to and our way, which our message, guidance and direction all derive from.
