The upbringing of children is of the most challenging and difficult of responsibilities. Parents continue to face innumerable problems and obstacles when raising wholesome Muslim children. The maintenance of relationships and modern day challenges leave parents in a state of confusion and worry.
The 3 T’s of Islamic Parenting is a course designed by fathers for fathers to empower Muslim fathers to build strong Islamic homes. The course covers the following:
The course brings together Islamic theology and established child psychology theories to provide real life practical steps that can be easily implemented within your family.
The course is normally delivered in 3 sessions over 3 weeks (alternative arrangements can be arranged for specific groups/organisations/cities) and covering the following topics
Everything in life has some level of training or manual to help you through it. However, I have not come across anything substantive or a practical guide to support Muslim fathers in developing and rearing their child (and in effect their family too) to become good Muslims, especially in western climate. All we know is what we have been taught by our parents and a bit more from our experience.
This course widened my understanding of the practical steps for Muslim father in relation to many different spheres. This includes: developing relationship with children; building love; discussing and teaching Salah and Qur’an; an effective way of discipline children; dealing with the hot topic of SRE and so much more. You really don’t know what you don’t know until you know. Involved Fathers have opened up a new understanding in dealing with children not only within the Prophetic way but also withing out current reality.
You can’t put monetary value on this course as what I learnt has lifelong benefits for myself, my family and particularly my children.Razull Ahmed, father of 2
My daughter is usually hard work when she makes her mind up on not going somewhere she didn’t like. From ‘Involved Fathers’ I acquired ways to acknowledge her feelings to which she then genuinely acknowledged mine and we went to our destination without a fuss or a single moan. A real life example for me of how I benefited directly and instantly from the courseRafiul Islam, father of 2
Having had the opportunity to sit through this course as an early bird, I must admit I was very impressed with what the course had to offer. Not only does the course offer support and guidance to be a great parent, but how do be a great leader… Highly recommended 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Thank You Nur Choudhury for the invitation and opportunity to experience this great course.”Ashraf Islam, Learning & Development Manager
